| Certificate of Origin NAFTA Certificate of Origin USE INSTRUCTIONS: All files are available for download and can be saved with your changes and/or specifications. Download the files you need below. Text format files are ready to use and should open in any word processor. If you want to use a template in Microsoft Word 97, copy the template (.dot) files listed below to the Microsoft Word for Windows template directory. This is usually the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates Directory or the C:\WINWORD\TEMPLATE directory. Then, from the Word menu, click File, New, then select the template that you would like to use, and click OK. This will open up a new Certificate of Origin form. The form will open in the Exporter Name and Address field---all you do is start typing in that information. To go to the next field, hit the tab key. When completed, you may store and print the Certificate of Origin form the same way you print any Word document. To begin using the templates in any other word processor, open the .rtf files and then click "Save As" document templates or separate documents using your word processor. Use the newly saved document as a master for future forms to be filled in. |
